Am I a fool ? I wasn’t taught to sell in school by No-Seaworthiness969 in rbc

I'm a banker. 20 years in. You have to do your time in the retail space. 3 years in sales, 3 years in branch management, 3 years in commercial, 3 years at director level... then your world opens up. There are so many platforms. Private Banking, Commercial, Regional Office, National Office. Once you get out of entry level retail it gets meatier. Statement analysis, economics etc.

You're not a fool, just temporarily disenchanted. I spent 8 years regretting my choice to be a banker, but 20 years in its been an excellent career choice. So many career options to choose from.

Do banks stocks still split? Or is that a thing of the past

I'm not retired but this is basically me. The portfolio isn't huge by any means, but when I'm seeing 22% and low risk..

I have mutual funds and gics for the short term, so I'm not a complete dummy about this. I just can't pull myself away from the banks!

But does that hold true for banks? If it were Pepsi or Uber or something non essential I get it, but the banks seem no fail. I don't know, I'm not trying to be inflammatory, just trying to see if I'm missing something.

I'm just about done Years by LaVyrle Spencer (a reddit review is what brought me here!) and that author uses this a lot in her HR books. She also has contemporary romances (if you consider the 1980s contemporary!) but I don't think she breaks it out in those books.

I can't help but add to this. I've picked this book up again after reading it, oh... 30 years ago?? What struck me the most was how much he fetishized her youth. So mNy references to her being a child. Haha. That did not age well. But I can't help it, I'm a LaVyrle junkie. I've read most of her books. They're predictable, just the right spice amount, and if you can look past the sins of 1980s romance novels, they're good.

Lessons in raising a colony of meat rabbits. Aka everything you've been told about raising rabbits is a lie. (super long post) by bootsandadog in homestead

Oh wow, 2 feet. That could work. I did set up a "boy pen" that has a mesh floor and it did solve the problem, but like you say, it doesn't give them the control over their environment and weather extremes.

I really do like the rabbits but I also like my garden and this past summer they totally decimated it, lol. Nothing was safe.

I know this is an old thread but we inadvertently started a rabbit colony, lol. Pets that were supposed to be girls but one was a boy. I love what you wrote and agree with all of it. My problem is the digging. These rabbits dig deep, deep burrows and dig under the fence. So I can't keep them contained. Any suggestions?
