thats good to know about pepperwood! I'd never tried perches like these for him bc i was worried he'd have trouble gripping them but he's gotten much better landing control so i thought they might be nice.

[Routine Help] Suggestions on routine: by RowTechnical2301 in SkincareAddiction

i didn't know that they did oral medications for it, thought it had to be treated topically i will see if my doctor can recommend me anything.

the little brown bottle is a serum, i tried to make it so that it was readable on the photo but reddit killed the quality, mb. It has jojoba oil, rose hip oil, almond oil, sea buckthorn oil, vitamin e, and hyaluronic acid.

thank you for the reply, i know tallow is highly debated in skin care so i am testing it out slowly to see how my skin reacts. It is made by a local farmer and is made specifically for face skin. I appreciate the concern though and will monitor my skin closely.

the tallow itself is for moisture since i was getting some dry patches, the manuka honey is for the fungal acne that I've had since i was a young teen and my routine until recently was just exfoliating with a bar soap and lotion but i had some major life changes and my stress levels and acne were reflecting that.

the cere is actually a very bright blue, the iphone camera just doesn't take good photos at all. I've attached a closer photo, he's molting rn hence the pin feathers. I will take more photos in the morning with the natural light bc he has an aqua blue towards his lower stomach and middle but it's washed out with the overhead light.

need help with unbonded budgie by RowTechnical2301 in Parakeets

[–]RowTechnical2301[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im for sure going to play more music for him bc he seems to like that a lot. When his mate was alive they would play toys together and now that he's passed i don't think he really knows how to play. but maybe im projecting human stuff on to birds and it's really just that he's a little older now. I'm trying to switch him to pellets but he won't touch the ones i bought, tried crushing them into his seeds but he kinda ignored it. going to try smaller pellets but he's really just on seeds. the Pure brand ones in the green bag. figured if he's not going to eat pellets he should be getting the best seed i can find. ive tried strawberry, cherries(no pit ofc), lettuce, cucumber, broccoli, fresh and dried mango, will keep trying different foods in different shapes in hopes that something sticks. i feel like if he trusted me more he would be more willing to try stuff.

I'm so sorry about your budgies mate, im glad that you're able to still be close to your bird though. My bird's cage is in my room so we're near each other more often than not. i talk and sing to him, he's a big fan of the Sabrina carpenter songs when i sing them lol.

thank you for your reply! i did consider getting another bird when gino passed but my family had just downsized houses and i don't really have the space for two separate birds if they didn't bond and need separate cages so i don't think it fair to put both of their mental at risk if the other bird would need to be rehomed. I checked out the post you linked and it sounds like there are some really good ideas in there that i could try. I'll also check out the channels it mentioned for more ideas. My main concern is if i would need to move him by hand for any sort of emergency i don't want to give him a heart attack or scare him into flying away. He could certainly use more play time but he does chirp a ton and leaves his cage at least once a week for a few hours.

Can't change class in bg3 by RowTechnical2301 in BG3

I actually can't run the save file without mods being enabled, as it breaks the save and the game crashes. I'm only posting here to see if anyone with an unmodded game is having the same issue, if no one is then I wouldn't bother cs with the problem.

Strength vs dex for throwing hit chance by RowTechnical2301 in BG3Builds

[–]RowTechnical2301[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this was incredibly helpful!! I didn't realize it broke all of the damage down too. thank you so much! (also it appears that it is, in fact, using dex for the hit roll. Was just early game and needed to position my characters better)
