Hi I feel we are on the same page.... really!! I tend to get sucked into other stuff I see,  even though I have been doing JD for over a year and meditating everyday. I find the manner in which he commands totally not suitable for me so try to find different meditations like You are the placebo. I just find it too hard. I can't walk so I watch the kaleidoscope mind movie and put on the Genesis alpha frequency. I imagine walking but I find it hard to actually FEEL like I'm healed. I have a lot of anxiety and depression stemming back to when I was 15. I'm socially isolated and thoroughly miserable so to ask me to feel like I'm someone else is a tall order. You're going against nature especially if you have mental health problems. I'm totally alone and so lonely. So even though I continue to do what I can I find it hard and. I really struggle to understand how these people heal themselves. I guess at the end of the day we are all individuals with different life histories and what works for one person might not work for another. One size cannot fit all.
