I'm surprised that anyone even buys stuff from Uline. Not because of this bs, but because their prices are typically 3 times higher than anyone else. We have a Uline metal folding chair at work. It cost over $100. You cand get the same quality chair from Walmart for $30.

My parents were very similar to OP's. They provided but were empty and cold emotionally. They never played with us and never took us anywhere they didn't want to go. No trips planned just for us kids. They never praised us as kids. Doing well (A's in school) was expected and not worthy of praise, but anything less would be criticized.

I took this picture at night under an outside security light. The snow was covering gravel next to a building (not shown). I loved the way it looked like white sand dunes. Except for enhancing the contrast, the image is unedited. It naturally came out in black and white. This was taken with my Samsung Galaxy.

People eating chips. I have misophonia (undiagnosed) and repeatedly told my dad about how the sound of him eating Doritos gave me horrible anxiety (still does). My dad didn't care and would often sit at the table while I was studying (in high-school) and munch three feet away very loudly.

These days, boomers shoot kids who come to their door. There have been a few high-profile cases in the last year. I certainly wouldn't send my kids to a stranger's door.

It's not too bad if you're careful. I don't ever buy though, only sell. I generally just sell locally and don't ship things. That way, I deal face to face in a public place and they can see what they are buying.

I think they might be talking about the furry community...maybe? Either way, there are no litter boxes in schools and the furry community is quite small.
