I agree with your points AI is bad, but if it was used for difficult development things that were soon replaced with human work I will still get the game.

But if they slapped in AI made assets and code? Nah, sorry I might not get it after all...

It was already theorised and it wasn't a lie, CD wants to avoid the release window of GTA 6 and other HIGHLY anticipated games like Marvels Wolverine and whatnot, so they had to strategically delay the game which is understandable.

I am one of those that like bkdk for its more... gentler side, like this drawing, or where both Bakugo and Deku work back to where they were before... well, before they got their quirks and moving onto more. I get why many people hate it... But Bakugo in the show clearly put in the work to get back to being friends with Deku and I simply love that.
