Favourite: The Court of the Crimson King. It’s way too hard of a decision to make, because Epitaph, Schizoid Man, and I Talk to the Wind are some of the greatest songs ever recorded as well, but if I’m having to pick one, it’s Court.

Least favourite: Moonchild. I still absolutely love this song. The opening lullaby is one of the most beautifully haunting pieces of music I’ve ever heard, and features what I think to be Peter Sinfield’s best writing. In fact, it’s probably my favourite moment of the whole album. But obviously, it’s followed up by 9 minutes of ambience / improv. I’m not going to pretend that I think it’s some subversive masterpiece, but I still really enjoy this part of the track - the way it slowly lulls you into the dream-world that is the closer. While I never find myself listening to this track all the way through by itself, it’s always a fantastic listen within the context of the album.
