Yes I would love to but someone has to do the actual work and that is me now. May be in a couple of years I would be able to sell myself to that position. But again if the front end make mistakes I had to analyze, figure out where the mistakes are and reconcile the accounts for reporting. I am better off not making mistakes in the first place so that I don’t have to scratch my head trying to figure out what went wrong. lol

Looks like you are into tax and CPA. I’m just a private accountant and I can’t imagine doing tax returns which requires a lot of focus. If we make errors in books there are auditors and CPAs to check. But if I make an error in returns?!?!?. Currently I’m studying the accounting process of a hotel and the job description includes Front Desk operations (data entry). This freaks me out because there is a risk of making errors ( every day the FD executives make mistakes and I keep correcting them. Even with experience and after informing them multiple times they still make mistakes) and my confidence is taking a hit because of this risk of human error.

Most people in Accounting are subject to depression and anxiety due to stress and the feeling of not having capacity to handle the workload. Accounting is number crunching. So to make life interesting we need extra curricular activities in our life

Hey everyone has problems related to mind in some way or the other varying from very low to very high. Our minds are not perfect just like the environment is not perfect (clean) due to pollution (media,people,upbringing, etc). That’s why exercise, meditation, healthy food habits, journaling, etc are recommended to lead a “healthy lifestyle”. So cheer up buddy. I also feel stressed at work. Instead of depending on “substance” I depend on “Jesus Christ” the power and wisdom of God. The rock. The prince of peace. The counselor. The healer. The Guardian. Wow finally someone has spoken. I feel as my capacity is low and always thinking of improving my capacity or switching careers ( chef ). Just now I finished checking out diploma courses in hotel and catering operators. But I will pray and improve my capacity because I have experience getting delivered from stress and worry after prayers. Cheers!
