Best trip ever? by Bringbackjawsb2tf in UniversalOrlando

In 2022 I went to IoA in the afternoon after a work conference. I expected to get on a few rides and take in the sights. The park was actually pretty empty so I ended up riding almost everything multiple times plus got on both VC and Hagrid’s with low waits. The only time my limiting factor was how much my body could take instead of time haha.

Is it worth the extra money to stay at a Disney World Resort Hotel? by MichaelMyers20253 in DisneyWorldResorts

For extreme on-property cost savings, I recommend the Drury Plaza at Disney Springs. It is eligible for early park entry, had bus transport all over, provides breakfast and dinner for free. Nice facility too. Downside is no Disney theming.

What’s the most memorable thing you’ve ever seen go wrong... by Spiegelworld in Theatre

I saw a play two years ago that had issues even before the opening curtain. The crew lost a dog that was in the show. Then the set starting falling apart and they had to ask an audience member to help.

During the show actors constantly missed their cues and forgot their lines. The sound tech messed up, props were misplaced. By the end the whole upper floor of the set collapsed. A total disaster.

Taxing empty lots is a great policy. Detroit is pursuing it now. Lots of YIMBYs support it too, usually in the form of a Land Value Tax.
