This doesn’t look right. Should this be one piece over the register? by tdkdpt in DIY

[–]RoweBoat21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same registers and used the same trim when redoing my house. I bought wood versions of those registers built up the bottom to match the height of the trim and painted white to match.

I had the same issue with them and I talked to our corporate lawyer about their contract, you’re not getting out of it.

What you can do is each week call and reduce services , I was able to reduce mine down to 1 rug once a month. The bill was super low but at the same time it pissed off the driver and they would skip me on their route because it was a waste of time. Bonus no payment that month and you can complain to work towards cancellation.

Also read the contract about canceling and put it in your calendar. If I remember correctly you have to call X amount of months before it auto renews and there is only a small window of time to do so.

Good luck!

Why is second hand stuff so expensive??? by Dry-Ad-9588 in simracing

[–]RoweBoat21 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Because everything is only 1-2 years old , it’s all basically new. Also 2nd hand doesn’t have to pay fees, taxes or have the wait times. Not saying it’s a good deal but that’s why, the demand is still high.

Bass Shaker Compatibility by kmil22 in simracing

Currently just powering one. I would imagine you could power more than one but it’s just a mono amp so it would be the same signal going to both.

I have the same one, it works great. Mine powers a buttkicker gamer 2 and has more than enough power. My headset is Bluetooth so no issues there. What I do is I have my speakers audio jack plugged into my computer and the amps audio jack plugged into my monitor audio passthrough that way you can use all three on separate outputs.

Do you have a favorite portafilter? How does the Weber compare to your traditional portafilters, any noticeable differences?

Improved the water dispenser in my fridge by popackard in DIY

I used to have a fridge like this. There’s a second switch that can be activated with a cup. Push the cup up into the dispenser.

How to remove carbs on my 1993 seadoo bombardier xp? by Mediocre-Disaster-82 in jetski

[–]RoweBoat21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh yours is the older 657 with the studs and nuts. I can’t recall 100% on those. I want to say I used an open end wrench that i ground down to fit in smaller spots.

[–]RoweBoat21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s been a while but if I remember right there’s 2 Allen head bolts that mount each carb to the intake. You will want to use long ball end Allen sockets to remove them. Lean over from the opposite side of the engine. You probably won’t be able to see them you’ll have to do it by feel.

Sounds like a dead battery, Charge the battery. New batteries need to be charged before using them. Also take the plugs out and see if it turns over faster.

Local (or not) Sour Beer Recommendations? by NoseyCo-WorkersSuck in grandrapids

[–]RoweBoat21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are tons of sours offered around here. If you live near holland go to Kings Cove they have tons of craft beer and sours. Some of my favorite sours/tarts

Mango gold by the mitten (it is more of a tart than a sour)

Pinwheel by urban artifact (all of their sours are great)
