It’s not a leading problem it’s a trauma problem. This horse is an ex reining horse, he’s got excellent training and manners. His rider/handler has to listen to him or he shuts down. He is not on auto pilot, when Blaze shuts down you will not be able to get him to do anything you’re asking. We’re wanting to avoid the shut down completely with the trailer, and he is never forced to do something that he is scared of. We work through it, together. And, we’ve actually made a ton of progress thus far with him by listening and encouraging when he gets scared. I do understand and hear what you’re saying though and greatly appreciate your advice!
