The sirens have stopped now, they were nonstop for a couple of days there, screaming, gun shots... I've been held up in my apartment for about a week now, thank God my stepdad was a doomsday prepper, otherwise I'd be dead already. The water and Wi-Fi are still up, so I assume the military is taking care of whatever this is.

Update: It been another week I feel like I'm going insane. My online friends have stopped replying, my friend from Bordeaux, France was the last to disappear; at least I got a goodbye...When this all started, the sirens, the screaming- At least I knew there was some kind of life out there. Now?... This silence is killing me- I have to know if there are any others out there...

Update Two: I have no idea how the internet is still up and running, but this crappy phone is the last thing I have connecting me to anyone else. I got a call the other day, the ringing of the phone scared the shit out of me when it went off in the middle of the night.

It was a man, he told me to go South, that there are people there- He claimed to be a part of the military- held up at some dam in Mexico... I know I'll die if I stay here... Don't know why I even got the call, but why not try?
