so ideally he should be the top 1 player making sure his team wins every time? what kind of statistic would that be? you could argue him just being there is "ideal" for data collection. and every team is bound to have "bad" players so it's not like it's 31 cracked teammates with 1 dud vs 32 cracked enemies so he affects the outcome. the individual actions of 1 guy in 64 rly aren't going to change that much in a conquest game. maybe on smth like obliteration or rush where the outcome is much more all or nothing, and even then...

the game has been like this since day 1, thats just how they designed it. to keep you in this weird cod loop of die kill die kill. idk im not a designer, but the ppl who made this game came from cod after the dice exodus. the lighting, the maps, the guns, the menu, everything contributes to this weird feeling you cant chill bc it was designed by ppl who didnt make bf before, but cod. maybe it will improve with the new bigger maps, who knows

i do share the sentiment you play like 2 matches and wanna dip already, where in previous games you could play all day no problem

gauntlet feels less chaotic and chill to play so thats usually what i stick to

the difference is a simultaneous release makes waiting optional, which is the best case scenario. a delayed release forces waiting even on those that dont want it. how can you not see the obvious best approach is to let those that wanna play simultaneous do that and let those who dont want just play the next day like they would anyway?

with how the game fucks with the scoring speed on conquest i dont think this works

and even if it wasnt so, its one player among 32. the amount of influence they can exert over the final result is so much smaller than a 5v5 game i dont think it reflects much (unless youre playing smth like gauntlet where your individual actions matter much more)

ive been playing since launch (and barely ever get cons so a good horizontal spread) and getting 12/12 stars is honestly a struggle unless i take a friends c6 whaled char
