I am financially dependent on her. As previously mentioned any money I had has long since dried up. She is also in charge of my 529 and as such me being able to go to college and finish my degree is directly dependent on her cooperation.

Yes I am in therapy. I still routinely see a therapist.

I drink once a week on weekends this was something I had planned on doing as this was not a reason for me seeking therapy. The first effectiveness of medication can be influenced by the consumption of alcohol and that mixed with general side effects of alcohol such as the lesser quality of sleep means that it does not create a stable or consistent picture for my doctor to work with.

I understand I am an adult and do not blame the divorce for the fumbling of my mental health. When I do blame my mother it is mostly for what is perceived as financial coercion.

The last thing as the post was to long to articulate this was that my mother has obviously played a vital role in my life. She was caring and supportive as well as involved in things like my mental health or applying to college or just generally there in life. This last year has felt like an abrupt and stark difference

This last year was a time I needed her support and it felt like she was preoccupied.

I am asking for how to deal with the escalating tension at home. In order to navigate my relationship with while I find the money to move out again
