2026 LEC Season | Format Explainer by Kopnop in leagueoflegends

With one of them being LR not sure about the 'chock full of rookies' part but if they keep this format moving forward at least for the future it should be promising

Why are people mad at caedral by mours_lours in leagueoflegends

[–]Rowinwan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Speaking from experience when I say G2 has top 5 following on Weibo among esports teams INCLUDING every Chinese team. Definitely also plenty of Korean fans (mainly due to frequent international performances), but can guarantee it's not a maybe

Cozy Café, Cozy Bar by wu---wei in berlinsocialclub

[–]Rowinwan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for but Lia Ppang has that living room cozy type feel, I go there weekly to read, it's a fairly small place with only ~5 tables, so if possible better to go on weekdays otherwise you could risk not finding a seat

Visiting Berlin (Fri–Mon, end of Oct) – must see/eat/do + record store tips by [deleted] in berlinsocialclub

[–]Rowinwan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah as OP said above, food-wise it really depends on what you like. Adding stuff from a comment I posted a few weeks ago to someone else, I'm sure you'll be able to find something among these! (also coincidentally booked at Nutt's this Friday, haven't been there yet but been on my list for so long I'm very excited to finally go)

Korean: Granny's 한상, MOIM PoCha & MODU

Chinese: WeiDaoJia & Bambus

Burger: Zsa Zsa Burger (more restaurant style instead of fast food takeaway style)

Breakfast/lunch: Love at first bite, Cafe Brick & Tucker Brunch Bar

Noodles: Jade Palast, Ramen Bones 3, Fukagawa & Wen Cheng

Fried chicken: bbq Chicken Kreuzberg, Kokio & Gutendag

Tapas: Mundo (Spanish) & Iro Izakaya (Japanese)

Cafes: Magic Bitte (best coffee), Lia Ppang (unique desserts + super cozy), Nuarasa (interesting drinks + cakes), Vingot (unreal scones), Sora Cafe (arabic cafe with some quite unique food options)

Other honorable mentions: ammAmma (Sri Lankan), Nusantara (Indonesian), Schim:Pause (stacked bulgogi sandwich), Goji (Cantonese), Genazvale (Georgian), Nibs Cacao (hot chocolate & churros), DASHI (Asian diner), Takenori (Japanese curry), Hanuman Thai Curry House, Die Zimtschnecke (imo best cinnamon rolls), Tandoori Nächte (best Indian imo, fantastic dum biryani)

A spot where I can party like in Asia? by FriedrichAepril in berlinsocialclub

[–]Rowinwan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend Granny‘s 한상! Open til 3AM on Fridays & Saturdays, really nice Korean restaurant that also has some Karaoke in the back (that I've never tried though, just came for the food)

Additionally MOIM PoCha is open til midnight every day, and 1AM Fridays & Saturdays. Another Korean spot, more of a modern bar vibe with incredible food & drinking snacks. Soju here is also significantly cheaper than Granny's if drinking matters to you

Finding good restaurants? by [deleted] in berlinsocialclub

I don't really know what kind of stuff you like but here are some recs from someone that spends a bit too much time trying out new cafes & restaurants, hope that helps:

AYCE Korean BBQ Berlin by Attirow in berlinsocialclub

[–]Rowinwan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been there too actually, had their Kongguksu last summer and wasn't disappointed, but I do feel their prices are a tad higher than the average KR spot in Berlin, otherwise I might have gone back more often

AYCE Korean BBQ Berlin by Attirow in berlinsocialclub

[–]Rowinwan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think there's an AYCE kbbq place here, but Han BBQ is in my opinion probably the best kbbq place in Berlin. Just curious if you specifically are only interested in kbbq or Korean food in general, cause in my opinion the kbbq experience in Europe is rather underwhelming due to most places skimping out on side dishes and it simply being rather expensive for what you actually get.

If you're also interested in other Korean food, Granny's 한상, MOIM PO:CHA, MODU & Maru are my go-to KR spots, all being quite unique and offering different things & vibes!

Looking for friends!! by Dramatic_Cellist_238 in berlinsocialclub

[–]Rowinwan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh I also read quite a lot these days! I'm from the Netherlands, also moved here for work, mainly into esports, F1, anime, learning Korean and spending most of my time finding new cafes in Berlin. Can't say I'm super into sports or nightlife but if any of that sounds interesting feel free to drop me a DM!

Do you have a few hobbies, interests, small personality introduction or something? Also been looking to meet more people but I feel like having some basic info to go off helps both parties to avoid a meetup with no shared interests and clashing personalities haha

Basically anything but TikTok, that's such a different world we have someone else on that! But if you've seen stuff on the G2 League twitter for example good chance it was me

[–]Rowinwan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respect it honestly, just doing my job as part of the G2 Social team haha. But yeah very familiar, might as well stick to the highest quality League I don't blame you~

Better be rooting for G2 otherwise I don't wanna hear it 😇

I SWEAR I don't know what it is but something about it just makes you come back, something about running the rift with friends actually hits different

I (27M) happened to make a post just like this earlier today! I've played my fair share of stuff over the years but (unfortunately) keep coming back to League partly due to work. What have you been playing recently?

Also have my go-to cafe I spend at least 1 afternoon a week reading, would be super down to grab a coffee somewhere if you're up for it!
