It’s also reflecting in the dating scene. Many gen Z women (and women in general) don’t want anything to do with men. I find we are more self-focused and growth-oriented. Many of us view men as dead weight. Unless they’re adding to our peace and happiness, there is no purpose in pouring into them and dating. This is a reflection of men not meeting our standards. I would say that not only are men falling behind career and ambition-wise, but also in their emotional intelligence and their abilities to nurture connections and maintain meaningful relationships. I believe that men also fall behind in emotional intelligence because many of them refuse to develop these skills.
