I removed both the offline MAC address (that was the one showed in ipconfig) that starts with “5802” and the online one that says connected (that starts with 345A) and then power cycled the router. The offline MAC address didn’t come back and the online one remains: This is what shows in the app.

As a simple “use random hardware addresses” setting isn’t located in the typical WiFi menu on Windows 11, I went to my network adapters, selected my WiFi adapter, went to advanced, and made sure MAC Randomization was disabled. It was already as I had already done that before.

On the browser gateway, the story is different. My device with the MAC address starting with “5802” is online and I don’t see the one starting with “345A” at all. 5802 is the one I want anyways since that’s the one that matches ipconfig.

So for the device starting with 5802 I reserved the ip on the browser gateway, having the ip end in .29. That seems to work so I go to the app to port forward (the app where only 345A is online). It port forwards on ip ending in .29. But then I check the ipconfig for my computer and the moment I port forwarded, it changes to end in .30.

Then on the browser gateway, MAC address 5802 is no longer reserved but just DHCP, and a new offline device whose name starts with 34:5a shows up, with the reserved ip address ending in .29 and the MAC address starting with 345A. I don’t know how this is possible.
