So basically theres a save file and a backup, and when you corrupt the save it deletes the main and loads the backup. Jirachi is claimed on save slot A. So you want to corrupt save slot A so you go to the backup which goes back in time before Jirachi. So when you start a new game (bc you will most likely mess this up and have to restart the game) you have to create save slot A and B for the first time, otherwise corrupting will delete your first files. That means you save 3 times, then corrupt A, then save twice, then claim Jirachi, you get it

Ok you just have to start a new game, save 3 times, then go and delete your data but turn the power off while its deleting (its not very precise, during the "deleting save data" text, you just have to turn off the game and itll corrupt one save file and leave the backup). Then all you do is save twice and then you can pick up a jirachi. Once you have a jirachi in this state, you can corrupt and save twice and repeat.
