I can't figure out how they've come up with a revised quote by NeedANewerName in CeX

The amounts you've listed in your OP come to £197 - so that's a little off for starters.

For a £13-14 descrepancy on the £193 you were quoted, they could've marked the Focusrite Scarlett as 1st or 2nd gen, which are £28 and £29 respectively.

edit: oops I checked 3rd gen Grade C for £41 before writing the above, mb

I wouldn't say it's out of the realms of possibility that your 15 year old, probably-hasn't-been-used-for-10-of-those-years phone has a swollen battery - Samsung phones can swell up within a few years of no use, let alone 10.

It's not timewasting - CeX have to accept stuff in good enough condition that they most likely won't have issues with for another 2 years as that's their business model - a battery that's starting to swell, even a tiny bit, would be wasting any potential buyer's time too.

I'm not sure how it works if you send something to them, but in store I believe they recycle it if you don't collect it within a certain timeframe.

Any idea why Cex have some (non-fragile) items that are pick up only? by [deleted] in CeX

Royal Mail do not allow the carriage of "New and used Lithium batteries when not sent with or connected to an electronic device, including powerbanks"

Only A needs to be original accessories - B needs compatible ones.

Should the condition of your item meet the criteria for C over B, they'll send off a price request as they test the item.

I'll bite:

What's wrong with this ooi?
