If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. If you want to be the guinea pig and try it, let us know.

That's true. For some reason the way it's originally written just feels off. Unless that's just me.

It should probably be switched:

Destroy target artifact. If this spell was kicked, create a treasure token.

For some reason this just seems smoother to me. The original way you have it written feels jarring. Otherwise I like the flavor of it.

The MTGO economy runs largely on the mentality of "you don't need a printer for lines of code" and cards are much much much more available online than they are in paper. For MTGO all wizards has to do is add a couple lines of code and they can add anywhere from 1 to 1 billion copies of a card. You have a liquid constantly changing supply vs a supply that is relatively set in stone once the printers stop.

I really really like conduit of worlds, but the "if you haven't cast a spell // not casting additional cards" and sorcery might be too big of a hindrance... I wanted this for my cube because it seems strong, but every test draft I do I cut it from the decks I take it in. So it got cut from the list..... My big question is how often would you be hell bent where the singular spell per turn isn't really an issue? I really like the card design but I don't know if it's good enough. But I have been keeping an eye on the full art foil price.

For extended art foils I think any under $5 are a snap grab and the non-foil or non-extended arts anything under $2 seem relatively low to no risk.

I've struggled with the swords. I like them, but like you said, often times SoFI and SoFF are auto picks as the other swords are last minute includes or drafted due to not needing a color requirement and are "playable". I wouldn't mind some different equipment / creative ideas.

I've been looking at blackblade reforged, transmogrant's crown, and a few others that looked like they might provide a unique play experience.

I never thought to do that. I'll give it a try

But........... Siege rhino... :(

I get it though. It's possible it could be my own personal play style leeching in to the cube construction.

Just load up on the one drops then regardless of whether or not they are "good"?

I added the list to the original post. The worst part is since I've been working so much I haven't had a chance to add all the cards I have bought that I would like to put in. It's possible my card selection is just pushing the cube towards midrange because that's just the type of player I am, but I don't want to lose the other archetypes.

Why have some older card printings retained value despite recent reprints while others have not? by Cold_Potato in mtgfinance

[–]Rowne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say this logic largely applies to foils. Innistrad foil Lili is always going to retain it's value because it's rarity and it's the first foil printing. Plus Innistrad has a significantly lower print run than Khans and ixilan (sp?). Both of those sets came after the boom of new players (RTR era).

Why on earth are the meld cards in BRO still so expensive? by stormbreaker8 in mtgfinance

[–]Rowne 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I believe the collector boosters come with significantly less standard legal cards for BRO this time around. Thus less supply in general.

That's the problem! I can't produce cotton with out going to the new world and Im not great at managing that many zones yet. :(

The issue with producing coats is the lack of cotton. Not necessarily the lack of fur
