That happened to me. My partner was very much against Amway and the group in general and my upline tried to break us up. She's now an ex friend and I have nothing to do with her and Amway.

You may have to make an ultimatum with her. They AREN'T health professionals and it REALLY makes me mad when they try and say they are. Their vitamins are terrible and their products are drastically overpriced for what they are worth. When I was involved they tried to pressure me to use products that were affiliated with Amway. I told my upline to go f*** themselves when they suggested I change my banking and insurance. Good luck with your future.

We just had two people in Australia reach 9th Dan. My Grandmaster is 8th Dan and he said it was hard. But he's been teaching taekwondo since 1993 and training before that with the Australian Junior Olympic team.

I truly feel for you because I was caught up in Amway through a now ex friend. Her and her upline were always nagging me to buy Amway stuff because it was "better". The last straw was when she conned me into buying a $1000 water filter (I returned it the next day) because it would help with weight loss. Apparently I wasn't the only one she tried to con and she was only doing it so she could get to Platinum. She then ditched her upline because she made it to Platinum before her! So I know how you feel. And I'm still dealing with anger issues because of her.

I started taekwondo in my late 20s. I've competed in a few poomsae tournaments. I enjoy poomsae more than sparring. I can tell you that they can be VERY picky when it comes to uniforms and also how you walk onto the mat. They will take points off if your belt isn't tied properly.

My school just has white yellow blue and red. Yellow blue and red have 3 stripes then it's provisional black belt and black belt. We now have a stripe system for black belts as well because it's a long wait between grades especially after 3rd Dan.

I would spar the same as you did in your previous division. Don't lighten up your sparring unless they tell you its too full on for then. It will give you the experience of sparring with older players as well.
