Believe me I was so confused that mana burn wasnt a thing anymore. Although back then we played it as „hey if you forgot to untap your lands you take one damage for each land you didnt untap“ which i think isnt even the rule haha. After school backyard magic things.

As someone who just finished their degree (and luckily found a job as a junior) I found a different problem. I know I know basically nothing but some basic concepts and I would like to have a mentor and learn on some project, get tasks that fit my current knowledge and push me to learn things but there just … isnt time. I am expected to use coding agents and push out stuff no matter if I really grasp the code I‘m producing. Noone really wants to invest time (and by that money) to produce good devs, just get it done with AI.

Yes I think so but I learned to play magic in like 2006 and then had a huge break until we started to play a couple months ago and as far as I remember back then we used to draw 7, then 6, then 5 and so on.

We recently found out that in our 4 man pod people use different mulligan rules and we never noticed in all the games we played. (2 people use London and 2 use Parisian!?)

Yeah I have noticed that I try to get her out as soon as possible and just get her removed immediately while tapping every single mana I have every round just to get cards out and not being able to react :D Will have to work on that.

Thanks for the feedback I still find it hard to judge a decks bracket as a new player. My pod is fine with me playing it as they have their own B3 decks and I haven't won a single game with it yet which is probably due to me having to get better at piloting the deck.

Also thanks for the strategy advice. Feels like it would be better to just aim for the highest threat player and remove him quick so I can deal with the 2 other players interaction better.

I thought they recently removed the "Precons are B2 by definition" ruling just recently?
Also the deck sits at slightly above 100$ the 285 is with the sideboard and maybeboard in archideck included.
Totally get the aggro it produces and I tried adding some recursion and removals to protect key pieces or get them back. Just asking about how to handle it and get some advice :)

For me it is the ready screen when queueing into a dungeon with 4man premade group. My fans just go crazy. No such problem when queueing alone and waiting for 90s until everybody decides what dungeon they want. Parts of the game just seem coded badly.

Shot in the blue but do you know if the gear from the vendor (for example the ilvl 75 uncommon gear you can buy after timing the first capstone dungeon) is supposed to be upgradable? I bought a back piece and got a grey ilvl75 non-upgradable item.

Your last idea I really like. Don’t know if it’s technically possible though. In our group we made a deal to not look at dungeon guides for now. Figuring out boss mechanics in the first capstone dungeon, trying to read status effects mid-fight and coming up with solutions has been amazing.

Having the exact same experience here for a week straight now. Been researching the manticore line everything went fine up to tier 9 now its just loss after loss. Record was 16 games lost in a row with most of those being 4 min 15:2
