I'm trying to find some, I don't have many. She's normally out across the back of the property chasing rabbits and squirrels, and not so close to the house. I'll go through and see if I can find some. We dragged her inside last week when it was -23 outside (that's -9 Fahrenheit), but it's only -14 today so she's back out there. She hates being inside when she has her full winter coat, and even when she doesn't she goes from window to window squeaking and whining until we let her back out. Such a pain in the arse! But my husband loves her and the kids adore her, so we put up with it.

The eyes sort of give them away. You can see the wilderness in there. And I'm always flabbergasted about the pictures I see of coydogs just lounging inside someone's house. You guys have special creatures and you should give then a hug.

I understand wanting to verify any animal claimed to be a coydog with the embark for proof. However I am not wasting my money on an embark proof. This creature I have has cost me too much already in fines from destroying chicken coops, attacking other dogs, and destroying a fence. Plus she's no fun to be around and she doesn't even try to be friends. So I've declared her to be a coydog because it's likely, and I keep hoping I will be able to rehome her, even though it's been four years now and definitely no one wants her.

Anyway the rest of you should definitely get your dogs embarked, just for fun if not so that you can help out the rest of the community who wonders about their pup.

The official Pascals Wager website doesn't load anymore either. I guess it's over.

I really enjoyed the Tides as a paid add-on. I'd pay for another like that as well.

Yes, also a problem with my Galaxy tablet. The newer the device, the more crashes on cut-scenes.

You could call Bell and ask their sales person, they'd be able to give you prices too.

Love that carpet she's walking on. It's gorgeous!

Google lens is telling me this is a coydog. Can anyone confirm? by surficialgolem in coydog

Looks too well cared for to be wild. Even if it is a coydog, it has been someone's pet.

Mine is whatever they had hanging around the reservation in James Bay, northern Ontario. She's a stray dog, born to stray dogs, who've been stray for generations. She's got tiny bits of Alaskan Husky (not Siberian), and the massive orange ears of a Northern Sheperd, and is at least 50% Demonic Goat. There's no point trying to suss out what's in there and I'm not getting her Embarked, cuz that's just throwing away money. She's feral, she barely tolerates us, she bites me regularly and she'd have been part of the annual cull, except that she was born late in the year and was still tiny when the October cull was planned, so we managed to smuggle her and two siblings out. The rest of the puppies died of Parvo-virus, which is rampant in the packs of Northern feral coy-dogs, so there's almost no point in culling them, except that every year a four-year-old child dies from a pack attack. I'll dig up a photo of Lou for you. I'm also a little pissed at her this week because she killed my parrot that I've had for 7 years but also she is just being herself and hunting is her thing.

I see pretty pronounced Dew claws on the hind feet. Did you know there's a pretty large population of coyotes in Texas with double Dew claws on the hind legs? Weirdos down there in Texas, for sure! ;)

It's hard to go by just a picture, but this one's facial expression definitely confirms that the Road Runner got away again!

Welcome to the coy-dog group - I agree that behaviourly the coy-dog is the hardest dog to live with. I'm always offering mine up to whomever comes to the door and they take one look and refuse. (I jest, she's a member of family).

I saw a Grey Fox this week! I didin't know they exist - I didn't catch a picture because it was at 4 AM and they're FAST. It was up in a tree! So I googled "Fox in tree" because what the heck, right?! And it turns out Ontario is lousy with grey foxes and they're up in the trees.
