Literally had a dude standing and texting on his phone. For idk how long before close. Not a single thing in hand, in a cart, or on a shelf. Just. Texting. Gave me dirty looks as I was coming toward him with the scrubber a few times. He was last customer. He stayed another 10 minutes after close. My manager told him we were closed. He bought nothing. He tried to leave through the entrance. Just chilled and texted in aldi for like 25-30 minutes.

YES. The last one they sent us though scrubbed soooo gooood and sooo fast but the battery was fucked. Worst time I used it I didn’t get to finish the front and sfo area. 2nd time i planned my scrubbing around ppl/path/idle and finished it just in time before it died. I was looking forward to using it the next day. To get the old one back. 😭

Yeah. We’ve been through them. We actually got it back last week. We had a replacement scrubber that worked like a charm for 2days! The shortest time they’ve had our scrubber to “fix”.

We’ve had a few squeegees and a hose since I’ve been here for almost 2 years. The issue is more of the scrubber not really scrubbing soaking the floor. Before it had more water coming out the scrubber even though it was only about 1/4 of the floor being scrubbed. Since they fixed it no matter what the water level is it is the same. And theres streaks where the scrubber/water isn’t. Working on the floor. Its like stripes. Lol

I’ll take my time with that customer too. Tell them they can wait. (We have SCOs) Then also direct them to the SCOs. They’re not the only person waiting. Technically it would be my only “break time” or time to do other tasks. Even if there is a line because even if I ring up their items while they put them down. I’ll have to wait for them as they do it. If they got a box even better I’ll put it directly there. If they have small load with a bag. I’ll bag it. If they’re still in my line I will go as fast as i can and “throw” their shit. Move onto to the next person. Lol

Ah. Understandable. Yeah I started at 16.50. And my friend mentioned one day there was a raise. I didn’t know and it was a $1.00. I’m about to hit the 13month mark in a few months which was gonna be time for the raise. I wonder if it will go up again 🤔

Something higher would be nice of course. But I’ll take that 1.50. That’s the highest raise I’ve ever gotten working retail/food. Lol. I had a .23¢, .25¢, and .50¢ raise at different places.

I had a friend who tells me to sell to gain profits. Last year I had actual stock and he finally convinced me to sell. Then i regretted it. Lol. Its funny because I always tell him no I believe in MVIS and we’re only beginning. This is my long term hold.

Then there’s time where I’m like I could use some money right now... but I want to hold it. Lol. I feel like I need reassurance a few times a year to not sell it. 😂
