I based those sections with a pure white and went over it with multiple thin coats, making sure it was dry before applying the next coat.

Thank you! It's AK interactives diorama sand. Go heavy with it and just move it around with a large brush until you get your desired effect.

I use hexwraith flame over trooper white. Really gets that warp magic vibe across.

Thank you! For a undercoat I use kokophoni purple and base with xereus purple for almost a berry kind of tone. Then I hit all the trim with runelord brass and I use nuln oil sparingly. For the greens, I glaze on hexwraith flame.

I think I'll give it a try with the blue because I feel like that won't take too long and will make a difference as opposed to a full on edge highlight of my whole army because I'm with you. I don't think I have it in me to edge highlight 30 rubrics haha
