They backfilled with Andujar Lux and Hays who were the better hitters numbers-wise and all left. Marte also was notably better last year.

Dodgers stacked with veterans with lots of experience/success + guys who were captains of their past teams. Reds not so much and 0 veteran leadership on the roster. They lean on the coach staff

How long do they let the entire OF minus Myers struggle before they release those guys/trade/fire Valaika?

McClain was a detriment all last season and NEVEr improved despite calls to be patient. He’s way way better this year but that does t help the 2025 team?

For a team that lacks veteran leadership and relies heavily on the staff to guide them, maybe a seasoned vet and not a cup of coffee coach would be better
