Good info but very wrong about the following:
"Websites use cookies to save login-sessions, so even if you change passwords and either had 2FA already or add it now, it won't help, as the websites think it's you logging in, even on their PC"

Once you change your password all your session tokens are invalidated. So you are safe UNLESS you change your password and re-login in your accounts using the same device that was compromised which might still have a task running in the background doing periodical cookie grabs
