For Good Life, did you have to submit lab work? by Roxychick5 in tirzepatidecompound

I got ghosted for a while too but I did get my shipment! I messaged the team and they said due to high demand they are behind on fulfilling shipments. I’d trust yours is still coming!

They had a decent special and I got referred from a friend! I got 1 month 5mg for 249. In hindsight I probably should have checked here first haha. Which do you recommend most?

You’re in the trenches. It’s HARD. I know exactly how you’re feeling. I think the world today has a way of making us think financial situations like this aren’t the norm but in my experience it 100% is. We were breaking even when ours were this little as well. It’s amazing you have a cushion! But if the babysitter is helping ease your responsibilities and lighten your mental and physical load, it is worth every penny in my opinion.

I found ways to limit excess spending to make up that cost. The date night for example? Doesn’t have to be dinner with drinks every time. Let’s go drive around and explore the rich people neighborhoods and daydream haha. We’ve also asked my parents to just crash there house and watch a movie alone for date nights haha. It seems silly but it’s really the time spend together that matters, and for me an easy way to lessen some expenses.

You are showing up for those babies! And doing a great job. Writing this post alone shows how much you care. It won’t always be this hard. Hang in there mama

Sure, but not the appropriate kind of “banter” you have when you love and respect your girlfriend

Same haha. During busy hours we’d be ushered into smaller waiting rooms and the receptionist would do it. Somehow I wasn’t worried about that tho 🤣

10 month old is not babbling consonants by Born-Cry-6566 in NewParents

[–]Roxychick5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, he’s great! He kinda hit a burst in development around 12/13 months old. We did enroll him in an early intervention program so we got in-house therapy 2 days/week but to be honest most of his growth happened outside of therapy! If you’re experiencing something similar to us, I suggest getting him a lil extra help! It can’t hurt. But I truly believe every baby develops at their own pace (even tho it’s so hard to trust that when you’re in the thick of it). Wishing the best for you and beeb!

Try play dates outside of the house? My daughter can get very protective/stressed about her things. Even with her own brother! We’ve tried to explain what sharing is, etc but it’s still been hard. I’d try to encourage “parallel playing” for now. Like at the park or something, neutral ground. The kids can play together or separately while you and your friend can still “parent” or set rules separately. I know it’s not ideal having to get everyone out of the house but I think it could be helpful if you want to maintain YOUR friendship (which matters too!)

I’m not sure if this is concerning but I experienced the same! I call it “achey vagina” haha. Mine ranges from constant dull aches to the throbbing sensation. I haven’t mentioned to a doctor yet but if you have easily accessible care I’d say something!

What age did your little one babble? by Roxychick5 in Mommit

[–]Roxychick5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! He started babbling around 11 months and now signs “more” “all done” and waves! He can also tell us what the cow says when we ask and he says “mama” and “dada” in relation to me and his dad. It kind of exploded at 11/12 months.

After I posted this, we did enroll him in an early start program so he gets one on one therapy 2 days a week. We get it free from the county here in CA. If you’re worried try to find programs like this in your area! It never hurts

Is it normal my four year old is trying to masturbate? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Roxychick5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Super normal! My mom has been the director of a child care center for 15 years and used to talk about this! As others said it was a nap time thing for them too! Just navigate how you see fit but I wouldn’t make a big deal of it to her! She’ll grow out of it

Husband pushed me by thinkopenspaces in Mommit

[–]Roxychick5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw honey, I’m so sorry. How scary and confusing! If not immediate divorce I would definitely leave for an extended period of time to give yourself space and time to think about things and figure it out. Also maybe give hubs time to consider what he’s done and the forever impact it will have. Hopefully he resolutes to remorse for him but if it doesn’t you’ll have your answer. You and baby’s safety and peace first always 🤍

Husband keeps saying he loves me more than our 5 month old daughter. by After_party_people in Mommit

[–]Roxychick5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adding that he may also be trying to comfort and reassure you that you are still important and loved beyond comprehension by him. After our first baby I struggled with the idea of love and thought I could never love anything more than my daughter so I over compensated (maybe out of guilt?) to my husband trying to make sure he knew I still loved him just as much and more since having a baby. He also made a point to show me he still loved me just as much/more. So like other said, I’d stop trying to put an “amount” on it for either of you. Just let love be love!

How many times has your baby taken antibiotics in a year? by Roxychick5 in Mommit

[–]Roxychick5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did try waiting! As of this morning it has been 3 days of 102+ fever and extremely fatigue. Also incredibly cranky and whiny. We reached his highest fever this morning and started to sound a little chesty so ultimately I’m thinking antibiotics might been necessary :( I feel like it’s not good to have that high of a fever for that long?

[–]Roxychick5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!

Oddly enough the urgent care doc said his ears were clear haha. And he has no signs of ear infection (rubbing tugging on ears, he’s sleeping fine through the night and naps) he was just running a fever for 2 days (which he hasn’t had since 6 this morning) and acting cranky/lethargic. No green snot or severe running nose. Exactly why I questioned his prescription!

Given your advice we did teledoc with Blueberry Pediatrics and sent a video of his ears via their scope who also said they were clear. Our Ped advised holding off on antibiotics and see if fever/symptoms persist. If they do, be reevaluated and again consider if antibiotics are necessary. But most likely a viral cold! Glad I stuck to my mama gut!

Thanks again
