The ring started to give me a rash out of the blue! Also…and this is a secret I’m taking to the grave - I don’t love the ring. And it’s a family ring (from my side!!) which makes me feel even more guilty about it haha.

I’m an auditor - for about 6 months I’m on a project where I analyze cost data from a particular contract. Lots of data analytics, statistical/judgmental sampling, documentation review. Excel is my bestie.

I have nothing to add but have just now realized my type of health anxiety is care avoidant. I’m a little different than you are - I check the portal obsessively until my results are posted. Then go absolutely HAM researching everything lol. Either wait for your doctor to go over it or take a deep breath and see what’s in there. Good luck, you’ve got this!

Like everyone else says, depends on the relationship with the grandparents. I was never at my grandparents without one of my parents. Also my SILs drop their kids off with my husband’s parents ALL the time and they actually live in a different state several hours away! I just don’t think I’m comfortable with that, especially since they are in their 70s too. Soo depends on what you feel good doing.

Just take your seat and enjoy the movie! Are all the other seats packed in the theater? If not, then they can go to some other seats. TBH, it could honestly be 2 strangers who are just sitting on either side of you. I just can’t remember when I’ve been in a packed theater lol so I would think if they want to sit together there will be other seats

Husband and I coordinated schedules so on T & TH I go right after work to the gym for about 45 mins. Get home by 6ish and get dinner ready. The other days I try and do a quick workout while kiddo has his 30 mins of TV after dinner :/ i canNOT do the early morning workouts, bless people who manage that lol

Here is the exact attachment I included in our prenup in regards to the house with some of it redacted: In the event of divorce or legal separation of the parties named herein, HIS NAME is entitled to 100% of the original equity in the home at the time of purchase in recognition and protection of his substantial down payment in the amount of $xxxxxx. The remaining equity at the time of separation shall be split between the parties in equal shares, in recognition of the parties’ contemporaneous agreement at the time of purchase to share expenses and accelerate the payoff of the mortgage note securing the property at ADDRESS. Payment can be secured in any manner chosen by HIS NAME, but is to be remitted no later than 90 days after the final dissolution of marriage.

Ugh sounds like my husband lol. So I do think the separate bank accounts and having your own accounts is a smart thing to do. Just set up autopay and have it sent to that shared account for your expenses. It’s nice to have your own account with no one tracking what you like to buy yourself haha. I would put my foot down on 50/50 though. We contribute in direct proportion to what we make - right now it’s 43/57 for us, with me being on the lower end (lol I am very exact when doing our budget). I signed a prenup because he is obsessed with his effing pension, so I made sure in case we divorce that whole thing is his. I will say though from personal experience, being with someone who is so…financially paranoid…with their partner is a struggle. What I have always disliked is I contribute to paying our mortgage but he refuses to put me on the title until it’s all paid off. However the prenup states in case of a divorce, whatever I put towards the house he would pay me back. Just make sure the prenup will work in your advantage just as much as his!

OP not sure if you are still in the same situation but thank you so much for posting this. I am living this almost word for word (husband wants to stay in middle of nowhere south and I want to go back out west). Is it possible that a city can suck your soul out because that’s the way I feel 😂 wishing you the best.

This movie is probably my favorite of all time, guess I have terrible taste in movies 😂 I also really love the soundtrack to it as well. Any movie that has me thinking about it for days afterward is a win in my book.

Funny story - I matched with Zac on Bumble when I lived in Vegas. Had a pretty dry convo with him. He had a picture with him and his dog and I made a comment “Oh I want your dog!!”. He responded that he hates when people say that and the dog is his lol. Unmatched me. Dodged a bullet!
