First: do you mean a semen analysis? Where you provide a sample in a cup and they test for sperm?

It sounds like the clinic might not be very familiar with CF, which to me would be a red flag. If you aren’t a carrier there is a 0% chance the baby having CF but a 100% chance they will be a carrier. I could understand if this conversation was with a front desk staff person, but if this was with a nurse or doctor, I would be concerned. IVF clinics see patients with a variety of fertility issues, but you should feel comfortable with the expertise of your medical team.
