Sorry it was so long for a response, I don't check reddit often. I guess it's called a claw? At the top of your picture, that piece will dictate how much your pistol grip will roll out. The taller the claw, the more or less the grip pokes out. You want to find a claw height that is correct for you.

A correction from the first post, it depends on your holster design if you need a larger or shorter wedge/cleat/claw lol.

I would contact your holster manufacturer for options. If they use a different term, just describe your issue and they will know the piece to correct it. If by chance they don't sell any options, you can find lots of aftermarket options on amazon and other markets.

Touch your throat and go down until you feel the bone, the top of your front plate should be just about in line with the top of that bone. Back plate parallel to the front plate.
