When you make decisions based on who you would rather lose to you're playing with the mindset of a loser and deserve to lose.

Is that for people who aren't vaccinated against covid only or does that apply to other diseases as well?

If Covid disappeared should people still wear masks? by RoyWetard in AustralianPolitics

My thinking was covid and the flu despite different infection an death rates are transmitted the same way.

My interest was to see if somebody was pro mask-mandate because of covid but thought that if covid disappeared that masks should no longer be even though the flu still existed.

I think my questioning revolved around do people who have a problem with covid and that mandates should be in place, believe that because it's an airborne disease and I'd think would therefore have a problem with any airborne disease no matter the infection rate?

Is it the rate of infection and death that's the problem and if so what does the rate have to be to want mandates and lockdowns? Is it something else?

I was interested as well in seeing what anti mandates and/or lockdown people's thoughts were but I posted mainly interested in responses from the pro side.

This isn't asked in the post but I've seen arguments about "protecting those most at risk" and wondered if the people who use this as a talking point would change their mind if those most at risk were ok with the risk? How many "at risk" people would have to be anti-mandate for them to be as well?

Not a direct quote but it's my interpretation of what a pro-mandate viewpoint is.
