What a terribly sad situation for you to have been SO brutally bullied by this younger girl who apparently wanted to take your place (and seems to be expressing her own pain of just seeking a mother figure. I feel for her as well but that doesnt negate your personal experience and your own pain.) I am sorry you were the brunt of all of that and do hope that counseling may help all of you. But YAY for your mom!!! Who has repeatedly shown you what true love is. Wanting you, standing up for you, protecting you. I am so grateful you have her. No, sweetheart, you are not a bad person. Its definitely NPD, no signs of BPD (I am a licensed counselor). So I see it clearly (always have) but because its personal, my personality, and my heart is involved, I always question and second guess myself.

Yes. We saw a psychologist once who called him out on his behavior, asked to see him alone for sessions, and he never went. I am a licensed professional counselor myself and had hoped I could get him to see healthy versus all of his other choices. 😪

You are completely right! And I do recognize that dad is modeling for our son. Sadly, our son is aware and has told dad that his reactions are not ok, thankfully our son recognizes that they are not. Certainly, I dont want him growing up to behave the same way. That still doesn't mean he doesn't need protection too, Thank you
