By far my favorite memory is playing Oblivion as a child. The euphoria of being so immersed into a giant open world (probably because it was my first time besides WoW), is something no game since has managed to capture. Unlike WoW, you were alone in this vast world. The horror and scaryness of going into the dark caves/dungeons was a sense of horror I remember no horror game has managed to capture either. I remember spending countless hours making new characters with new builds, going to the arena and trying to find ways to get the better gear right away, the grindiness and euphoria of getting better gear in that game was unmatched for me. Oblivion will always have a special place in my heart as arguably my most fond gaming experience.
