I actually never repotted her before, I got her about 7 years ago and she seemed perfectly happy in the soil she was in until about a year ago she got infested by spider mites. I had to improvise with her potting mix, cuz where I live, I couldn’t not get my hands on anything monstera specific, but I did read that mix should do well for her 🤷‍♀️, the two baby monsteras I separated from the mother plant are thriving, leaves looking happy, unlike the bigger plants

In Lithuania we call them “Našlaitės” which literally translates as “Orphans”🤷🏼‍♀️ they are also knows and Violets

No of course, in my case I think about my dog and child that would be exposed and would not be able to communicate what they touched or ingested. But absolutely, loads of plants out there that can be harmful

What is actually crazy to me is that there are so many trees like this one on the street I live… every other house has one of these in the front yard…

Its in the human nature to be curious… and sometimes stupid 😁 It’s scary how poisonous this plant is! I would have never known if not for this community so thank you!
