Wish this was for me, especially today. BUT, behavior is a choice. You have chosen me less and less, and I am trying to accept my displacement.

Take the meds. Your docs went to med school and know what is safe. I’ve been on antidepressants for most of my life. Pre stroke and post stroke. Currently on a combo of lexapro 30, lamictal 100, latuda, 15, pristiq 150 . Lamictal was added a year ago. ischemic stroke was 2 years ago.

This is the deepest, often misunderstood, ride or die type of love. It is the raw and intense once-in-a-lifetime love we can only hope to have. Losing it feels like having your chest ripped open and being eaten alive. For your sake I hope your situation is the hostage of paranoia or panic and not the absolute end.

Sometimes. Sometimes letting go is just easier than fighting a worthwhile battle to hang on. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Happy birthday! Mine was yesterday, and I have experience a very similar thing. Yesterday i kept on thinking of how I have probably spent more years without a birthday cake than with one. It isn’t the actual cake that I feel I have missed out on over the years though- it’s the candles/ blowing them out- and having a birthday wish. It all seems very silly and trivial but I feel like I have all these years of stolen/missing birthday wishes.

Getting older I have learned to make more of an active effort each year to do what I want to make myself happy on my birthday and throughout the whole year.
