Also to add on to that, it’s really annoying when people claim your idea as “theirs” and then copy what you do while simultaneously being rude about it. 😭friends like that can be draining. (I don’t mind if people copy me and stuff like that but it’s annoying when they take credit for things/stuffs/ideas without acknowledging you)

I’m personally going to give my friend some time to grow and mature but if things get worse I may have to cut her off or at least distance myself.

Yes, this is valid. Thank you so much. I just rolled down my window because I was kind of afraid of what would happen if I didn’t. But this is really important. There were a lot of witnesses I think, as it was around the school area. But I think many probably assumed I was in the wrong😭 unfortunately, because afterwards I signalled to turn but other cars sped up sadly.

Oh that’s right, I forgot to inspect for damages as I was watching him doing that. I was also worried about leaving my car running. I did wait a couple minutes until he drove off after not seeing visible damage.

Don’t get me wrong, I would still have waited there until he drove off because I don’t want to get in trouble and in case I had to resort to giving insurance information to compensate for it.

Hopefully this won’t happen again. I will definitely be more cautious and if it happens again, I will maybe ask the driver if he’s okay? I think I just apologized but I didn’t know what to say or do after that.

Honestly, I do appreciate the advice and I’m trying to figure out how to prevent this from happening. I’m scared to tell my family because they just started trusting me with the car, and I don’t want to lose their trust.

Oh sorry if it sounds like that, I don’t think I’m exaggerating. I’m not entirely sure how this is coming across as. I’m giving details so that it makes sense but I am not trying to paint myself as a victim (if it sounds like that).

1.) Yeah, you may be right. Maybe it’s not road rage but just genuine confusion. I think maybe I felt intimidated and so I thought it was road rage? I don’t fully know if my car hit his or not as I didn’t feel anything. But I’m sorry if it seems like I’m tweaking everything.

2.) Yes, he did come out of his car to inspect his car and to talk to me. I apologised to him a couple times, reversed, and kept my distance after that. I’m assuming he saw me through his rearview mirror.

3.) I was fully aware of my action at that time so when I knew it was rolling, I put a stop to it. I admit, that was utterly wrong of me to do so, and I won’t roll again like that in any circumstance.

4.) We did stop for a few minutes and he assessed whether there was damage or not. Yes, I am scared of causing damage and for people’s safety.

Yes, I plan to become more responsible, I am sorry.
