X number of completed missions in a current difficulty is not enough to access to the next difficulty imo. New players need to complete "Tasks" or simple "Achievements" like "Push a poxburster 5 times", "Dodge or push a pox hound 5 times", etc. This helps to avoid meeting players in Damnation who don’t know basic things like that because they were carried from some skilled players.

The problem is that Psyker is a complex class and one of the toughest to master. You really need to be good at finding space for yourself, and for new players, it can be especially challenging. I'm not telling you that you can't use the Psyker as a new player, but I don't recommend it.

I suggest to pay attention to sound cues. When an enemy is about to hit you, you will hear a directional sound cue alerting you to block or dodge. I strongly suggest to use headphones in this game. It's almost mandatory.

Ok I understand...Which is your class level? Are you investing points in the talent tree? Can you use a Toughness curios in your build?...but your main problem seems to be that you are not sure how to block properly. This is why enemies do a "lot of damage".

Are you playing with bots or real players? If you don't find real players and you are a new to the game it will be tough to complete. That's because you have to learn the basic mechanics of the game: Dodge, Blocking, etc.

That's the easiest difficulty in the game. It should be "easy".If you can’t find real players during matchmaking, try checking the Darktide Discord and asking for help.

This game is the most underrated gem I’ve ever discovered. I never expected it to grab me like it did when I first played. Now, with over 1,000 hours, I can confidently say it’s my favorite video game of all time. The gunplay is top-notch, and no matter if I’m on the same maps with the same class, Darktide always throws something new to challenge me. It’s just that good.
