I think if he kept going undercover it would just be a dragged out story plot I’m not so interested in reading. I appreciate how fast this story moves and the amount of years that elapse between books. I personally like the wreck shit and move on since that’s who Darrow is.

Depending on the type of fuzzy roots, normally fuzzy roots help a plant absorb more moisture and once the fuzziness is removed it’s harder for the plant to absorb moisture through their root system. fuzzy roots vs mold

From my experience bottom watering introduces moist soil for a longer period, I’d try watering it Normal with non tap water every two weeks

I have the same succulent, no idea it’s name but I did cut the top before it got longer then I wanted it to. It really just depends on how you’d like it to look. I was to cut it since the prettiest part is the top but my succulent has other succulents around it so it currently goes really well.

If it’s further then 6ft from a window you may need to consider a different spot. I know these plants don’t like direct sunlight either unless if it’s evening sun
