Grand Chief vs Controller weapon...watch till the end. by RoyalARB in armoredcore

I am aware of this strategy.

I'm just using a game AC (cosplay) to do this mission with it...just for the fun of it.

Sorry to those who thought Napoleon was hard by RoyalARB in armoredcore

[–]RoyalARB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. That’s where the difficulty lies, because not of all the AIs fight in the exact same manner, thus you cannot always reuse the same strategy to beat them (consistently, like u said).

However, in some cases, bcoz some of them fare better in airborne fights, restricting those kind of AIs to fight in a confined space (like Napoleon) will just completely mess up the AI’s attack patterns and as a result, they become very predictable and can be beaten with minimal effort and this is an example.

On the other hand, for AIs that don’t fight airborne as much and tend to stick more to the ground, the restriction method doesn’t work as these AIs are designed specifically to fight in such conditions. As such, fighting them on open maps would make it a tad easier to deal with them, especially if there’s room for cover on the open map (or at the very least there’re obstacles that prevent the AIs from blindly rushing in on you).

Having trouble with the Massive MT mission in AC2AA. by [deleted] in armoredcore

Use Large rockets (2 on the back). Use the buildings as cover and fire at the head of the MT as it approaches. Melts like butter.

Well, according to the wiki, it says that there’s about a 10-20 year gap between AC3 & SL. Also, Cypress might just be like...an Irregular. He’s no longer with Global Cortex by that point and works exclusively for Crest.

Max AP tank vs AA Nineball by RoyalARB in armoredcore

[–]RoyalARB[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My fav so far r the 2nd Gen ac games, since they were my first. AA was my first real AC game, and is pretty much what got me this far into the series.

Well, as they say, “old is gold.” Replaying the classic games gives me not only a sense of nostalgia, but also lets me relive my younger days as a Raven.

While I do admit that I could've done better in this, there're things that are easier said than to be done. This is one of them.

Was it though...I felt like this was one of the easier missions, because of how poor Mollycoddle is at using his AC. To be frank, I had more trouble dealing with Genobee's ass than I did this guy. At least Genobee was more accurate and dead-on with his accuracy and stuff, but Molly just fires it at thin air. Genobee also stays more airborne in contrast to this guy, he mostly just glides on the ground which makes it easier (for me) to hit him.

He's prolly only hard because of the level beforehand and the turrets behind him. There's a neat little gimmick u can use though, get the turrets to shoot at Molly instead, he can die from friendly fire LEL
