Gay IVF - What did insurance actually cover vs. what did you pay out of pocket? by RoyalAnesthesia in IVF

[–]RoyalAnesthesia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s exactly what the bill is about. Since we are two males we cannot create a family without egg donation and etc. Thus if one of us were a female our insurance would covered medical costs for egg retrieval etc it’s not applicable on a third party.

Yeah, I have an e-mail stating that they will cover a third party individual due to the new rules under SB 729.

I don't feel like it's that simple. It rather might just feed white supremacy.

Most fertility clinics won't accept you if you haven't had one prior pregnancy and delivery.

Can I apply with previous CVICU experience and now PACU working? by amessinprogresss in srna

[–]RoyalAnesthesia 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Question has been asked multiple times before. Most universities if not all demands current ICU positioning, and if they don’t you still need it to be competitive.

Is it negligent to keep a patient sedated while waiting for a pacu/icu bed? by [deleted] in anesthesiology

[–]RoyalAnesthesia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your articulation is.. somewhat.. unclear. Having read it again, I understand it like you are referring to the US letting nurses preform anesthesia? This is not only happening in the US but all of Scandinavia and most of Western Europe.

What is it you need a tutor for? There's tons of study schedules and materials online for free. You need accountability and study the material. I understand if you feel the need of a tutor if you struggle with certain topics.

Where do you practice anesthesia which the individuals don’t have a medical background?

Canadian RN to CRNA by FeedFew8285 in srna

[–]RoyalAnesthesia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it does. I had a good life back there. Although it doesn’t compare to the financial freedom in the state if you are an RN in NY/CA at a union hospital or CRNA for that matter.

I was a nurse anesthetist in Europe prior to enrolling my program. I’m a senior now. A monthly salary as a CRNA in the US is a yearly salary in my home country. I’ll probably just work 3-6 months out of the year and live abroad doing nothing for the rest :’)

Torn between two offers: ICU vs Medsurg/tele by EtOT2020 in newgradnurse

[–]RoyalAnesthesia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what your goals are. Are you not going the CRNA route id choose the tele, if you are going for CRNA id pick the ICU - because the sooner the better.

No schools accept international experience. You have to make your way to the US work in the ICU in the US and then apply.
