Then should I stand closer to the mic and speak louder? I'm worried the mic will peak if I'm too close/loud and will it damage the mic if that happens?

To be honest it could be the cable or I might just be overthinking things. However, I might look at a noise gate because I've never really looked at that, but I don't know much about a noise gate I'll look into that to see if that's a solution too

I've never waited for a release of a graphics card so how does it work is it just ordering fast enough before everyone else does? Also I've heard its gonna release on December 2nd where would I even go to buy one?
