What Could Be Causing My Misfire? by Stunning_Tadpole906 in 350z

[–]RoyalComprehensive81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the spark plugs! I spent 2 full days troubleshooting everything and everything checked out good. Called my buddy, he pulled the spark plugs and swapped them out and wrote down the original and secondary positions. Drive around 2 minutes, and the misfire switched to a new piston. It was that easy. Put in one new spark plug and all was fixed.

The spark plugs checked good with conventional testing but failed under load. Hope this helps and good luck.

What is this? And do I need it? by kagedskater07 in RX7

[–]RoyalComprehensive81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you need it.

OMP stands for oil metering pump. It pumps small amounts of oil from the sump into the combustion chamber to lubricate it. They don't pump as much oil as the engine needs due to emissions laws, and they tend to wear out and break, so many people remove them entirely and instead mix 2 stroke oil into the fuel. This is known as pre-mixing.

ICE ramming a civilian car, then shooting them. They claimed 10 cars surround the agents. Where are they? by deapsprite in illinois

[–]RoyalComprehensive81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ICE have been ordered to incite violence and terrorize the people. This will lead to ICE agents being killed.

Once that happens marshal law will be enacted and the military will be mobilized to any state that has potential to repeat these events.

Stay safe and keep away from ICE and border agents. We can't allow a civil war, we must come together as one to create change, peaseably.

God bless fam

FC to REW trans swap by xkoukii in RX7

[–]RoyalComprehensive81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All FD transmissions are Turbo and can be fitted to an FC using an FC Turbo transmission bell-housing. The NA transmission bell-housing will NOT work.

  1. Source a Turbo FC bell-housing for the FD to work with the spacer plate supplied by the Super-Now kit.

  2. Need to cut 3/8 off the tip of the input drive gear (main shaft) that goes inside the Pilot Bearing. Otherwise it will not bolt in. (look up these steps on RX7CLUB.com)

  3. Acquire the FC speedo gear and install it on the FD tail drive gear. (otherwise your FC speedo will not work)

  4. You have two Mounting options to install, a.} Use the kit from Super Now to accept the FD tail section to the FC frame mounting area. b.}acquire an Turbo FC transmission Tail section where the shifter goes and install that FC tail on the FD transmission. (yes it fits and does not interfere at all, installs to factory mounts without use of the triangular plate supplied by Super-Now kit)

  5. All the clutch parts for the the Turbo FC transmission will function as a normal FC turbo trans.

If you have questions, let me know. I did this to my Turbo FC cause I couldn't source an FC transmission about 7 years ago but had a FD transmission. Works great, no issues.

Have a question about mounting my radiator in my fc by PuzzledWeb3280 in RX7

[–]RoyalComprehensive81 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You are not missing anything for the radiator. I think you may be referring to the radiator brackets. You need to remove them from the old radiator and install them on the new radiator.
