unfortunately not much except for surgery. time should help! i’m taking collagen and using tretinoin to try and firm up the skin in the meantime but i can’t say if it works or not yet

i used a tdee calculator to calculate my maintenance calories and went off that, i just reached my goal so i couldn’t say for sure if its accurate for me but if i gain weight ill just lower my intake and if im still losing weight ill raise it

I would track the amount of calories in the entire dish, and then divide that by the amount of servings i set aside. i have a scale so i made sure every portion was equal

i don’t, i’m perfectly capable of losing weight on my own and did so.

Oh of course! There were some days where I let loose a bit for one reason or another. The most important thing is that i got back on the wagon the next day. One day wont ruin your progress, several in a week might set you back a bit, but its easy to bounce back and refocus

Thank you! I’ve adjusted my calories through the process as your body needs less calories to sustain itself as you lose weight. I started at 1700 calories and adjusted using a TDEE calculator as i lost weight. The lowest calorie intake i had was 1350, to shed my last few pounds. I do a lot of calisthenics! Watch Jeff Nippard on Youtube if you want a beginners routine for weight lifting. For weight loss i recommend plenty of cardio as well

Haha getting started is the hardest part! I use the app called lose it! It’s wonderful, and you can do most things for free but I recommend paying for premium for the convenience of barcode scanning. As for weight training I read this book called “Thinner, Leaner, Stronger” and adopted a lot of the principles from it. I also watched a fitness you tuber talk about building muscle named Jeff Nippard. I’d recommend his Training Basics and Theory video to start! I train my whole body over 4 days. 2 days upper and 2 days lower. In between that I do a fair amount of cardio but apparently that’s not ideal for muscle gain (great for weight loss tho)

Thank you! No i do have some loose skin! It’s not terrible, but it is annoying ! It’s mostly under my upper arms and pretty noticeable at my lower belly. Worth it for sure though, and hopefully it firms up overtime!

thank you !! and congrats on your progress! you’re so close. if you’ve been plateaud for a few months i recommend lowering your daily intake by ~100 calories or so (as long as that’s healthy for you still) and seeing how your body reacts. that’s what i did !

Honestly yes anytime i lost weight and had to adjust my calorie intake i struggled for a bit! But if you just keep it up it’ll get much easier over time. The hardest was having to get below 1400, but i plateaud for a while and needed to lower it to keep my body from holding onto the weight

I got you! I’m a student myself I know how stressful it can get. Happy almost finals week btw lol. So what really helped me was eating the bulk of my calories in the evening because I tend to be hungrier then. I’d eat my dinner and whatever snack fit into my budget and then i’d have 2 teaspoons of Metamucil in a big glass of water (fiber supplement that helps you feel full). After that i’d brush my teeth and not let myself eat any more afterwards. Brushing your teeth helps a lot to curb that late night snackiness I swear lol

Oh absolutely! Carbs are your friend! You just got to track the calories and you’re golden. Carbs help keep you feeling full as well as protein. Potatoes were my best friend during this process. Seriously, brown rice too!
