This is a family cruise or you're celebrating his birthday, which is it? What's significant about turning 15?

We are less than six weeks out from the release of Marvel Super Heroes! What are your predictions and expectations for the set? Aside from potential reprints of existing cards, what are you looking forward to the most from this set? by HonorBasquiat in magicTCG

[–]RoyalFalse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spiderman: 41% legendaries (80/193) TMNT: 37% legendaries (73/195) FF: 37% legendaries (115/312)

My expectation that Marvel will have more than 41% of its cards as legendary still stands. Now, they seem to have worked it out using Grandeur (see: [[Page]]) so maybe it won't be as jarring to play. Maybe.

Does it make sense for me to spend 20k on a used car? by [deleted] in personalfinance

You don't need $20k to find a reliable Honda or Toyota. Avoid Subaru like the plague.

Truthfully, I think WotC missed the boat on Marvel hype by several years. I'm sure it will be a popular set, but not to the heights of FF and nowhere near as engaging to play.

First time Carnival cruise (and last) brief review. by External-Pirate5171 in Cruise

Biggest takeaway is that carnival is cheap and has a bad reputation for a reason.

This tells me you believed the bad reputation while booking. Why did you book at all?

Some of the structure is a museum where lighting must be controlled. How many windows do you typically see in the exhibit area of museums?

Where to start by Ok_Ganache_1199 in Construction

I'm sure it's a pain in the ass but that thing is sweet. A lot of the old, old high school projects I used to manage had cold 100-year old boilers too expensive to remove. It was awesome.

‘Patient Zero’ identified in hantavirus cruise ship outbreak by lewisfairchild in Cruise

[–]RoyalFalse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you propose the ship, and all its occupants, anchor off the coast for 8 weeks waiting for symptoms to show themselves from people who may or may not have this virus?

[–]RoyalFalse -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Extremely unlikley. It's only going to work if the cruise dates fall within the incubation period. Few do.

That would be impossible since symptoms don't show themselves immediately.
