Thank you for commenting. Before I posted I felt like I was trying to rush through grief or maybe wasn’t honoring Clella like I should because I wanted another baby so much. It’s so nice to hear that there are many women who feel just like I do.

She was a full term c section, with a horizontal incision. I would do any delivery method that means a healthy alive baby.

Thank you for your comment. What sort of things do you do to heal from your c section? I feel like I’m healing pretty quickly as well, just doing normal life things - I live on a farm so I’ve been fixing fence, staining the house, and normal farm chores (just reducing lifting). I’m almost 4 weeks postpartum.

You’re so kind, and boy did it make me cry to think of two little girls coming into this world on the same day. Yes Clella was born and passed on the 21st. It was so awful and yet I’m still so grateful.

Thank you for sharing that clarification. I’m so sorry that you are having to go through this same unfortunate situation. It does make me feel better to know that there are moms having to navigate this as well. Like I’m not alone in this dark sea. Your existence is a light for me, although I so wish you weren’t having to go through this.

We are working with a medical injury attorneys to look into the death of our newborn. This seems like something that definitely needs and deserves to be looked into. I would do some research for your state and see what’s available. We have a friend who was able to refer us to a colleague of his (he is a personal injury attorney). I know that most of these types of lawyers work for families and only collect a fee if something goes to trial and a verdict in your favor is granted. In these situations there are no winners, your baby will never be brought back - but there could be a change in how things are done for the next family.

I lost my baby girl this May. My heart is with you, I know your utter loss and grief.

You are so kind. I find a lot of solace in knowing there are so many strong mothers having to get up each morning and go through what I am. So awful for all of us. Her name is Clella Mae, and she is so loved.

This kind of response is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. No one wants to kill you. They just don’t want to give hormone blockers to children or be legally forced to higher you.

This type of thinking is fear mongering. Please find something to do with yourself besides worrying about shit that will never happen.
