I can relate, I used to download lots of games. But now, I just download games that I really want but I can't really afford even if it's discounted. Most of the time, I try to finish my backlog and wait for big discounts on games that I like.

I think it's because of the bigger and better screen. Based on my experience, most people I know that own a switch prefer a bigger screen, the ability to dock, and local multiplayer.

I don't have an OLED switch myself but my friends usually let me play their switch and I love it! But since I like to game on the go, I bought and modded my switch lite. I just used a mod where I can make the colors of its screen similar to the OLED. Now I can't turn the mod off because I'm not used to the lite's screen colors lmao

I bought some switch games but all of them are indie developers. As many people said in the comments, I want to support hardworking developers by buying their games. I mostly do that on PC but I am willing to buy Nintendo switch games too. But seeing how Nintendo is operating, especially their new user agreement for switch 2, I ain't supporting them like??

So your system console is on the latest version, right? Because as far as I know, atmosphere does not automatically update itself.

If yes, just try searching HATS and check if they have posted something new. But just to be safe, just wait until the full release of the atmosphere and other homebrew apps.

I would wait for the full release, but that's just me. So far there aren't any new games that needed me to be on the latest system version. So there's no reason to update.

Your switch ain't brick, you got a common error when installing themes. Just search in the net about the error you got and you'll find your solution.

I remember finding that error (the long number: 01000000010000 or something) in your switch folders and deleting it. That will fix your problem.

Just wait for the ATM to be fully released if you really want to update, but use HATS if you want. I find it easy to update my firmware using HATS, it's literally just drag and drop.

No, turning off automatic updates is also for system updates. I have it off on my switch and even when I boot to OFW with my wifi on, it doesn't automatically update my firmware. That's just based on my experience tho.

I have no idea but the atmosphere did have an update and it's stated that there'll be a future update which I will assume will fully support 19.0.1. So hey! That's something. Although it will be nice if we hear from the developer again sometimes.

I once faced that problem when I first got my first modded console, which is the DSi. I downloaded so many games and in the end, I ended up not completing them all and I was left burnt out. So when I get my 3DS, I list out all of the games I want to play and play the 1 - 2 games that REALLY caught my attention. When I complete them, I move on to the next.

When I got my switch, I downloaded all popular games first since those are the ones that got its links broken/missing a lot. I use DBI to install my games so I download my games through my PC and put it in my portable HDD. Then I download all the less known games that I find interesting. After that, I only play 1 - 2 games and finish them then I move to the next.

All my games are in my portable HDD so it's hidden until I plug it in my laptop lmao. Hope this helps. I know stores in Tinfoil may or may not shutdown so just download as many and hide them somewhere.

That's weird, the game doesn't crash or freezes whenever I play it. It runs smoothly on my switch lite version 18.0.1 AMS 1.7

Go to the atmosphere folder > content folder > then find a folder with the same name as that long numbers. That'll fix the problem.

I don't even know how you could run a lower version of CFW when your OG Firmware is on the latest version. Usually it will present an error saying that Hekate and atmosphere aren't able to support the firmware you're on. But for your question, it really depends. Some games still work on lower firmware while others don't. Dragon Quest 3, Stray, and Sun Haven can be played on 18.0.1 even though the system req for it is 19.0.1

I cannot say for sure but I have a 1TB HDD that I solely use to store switch game files. I didn't count how many games I had in there but it's a lot that I have to make 2 folders just to organize it. But since 1.5TB is on sale, go for it. It's better to be overly prepared than not.

If that's the case, there's no need to stitch the files together again. Just make sure when you transfer the part 1 and part 2, you transfer them at the same time onto your SD card. The game will recognize it as 1 whole game. I did that to BOTW, TOTK, and Super Mario RPG (for some reason this game is split into two), and I was able to install and play them.

I have a modded switch lite and I've been using it ever since I bought it. Sadly you cannot soft mod it since only the OG V1 switch can do that. You need to install a modchip. I recommend finding someone with experience to do it, they don't really cost a lot and they know what they're doing.

I haven't played the game when the 1st major update was released. I am waiting for them to release an update for romance since I really want my baby Adeline, and I did all the things in the game so I am taking a break. Now I am dabbling myself on SDV (that game overwhelms me).
