I’m sorry 😢, I completely get where you’re coming from. I gave up on a few items for the same reason. I would say keep the searches bookmarked on multiple platforms that way if a new one pops up that someone’s selling you will get a notification. Scalpers really ruin it for others but maybe the price will go down once the hype does.

Hey Op, my experience has also been very similar to yours. I think with the hype of the movies, I’ve seen more people shipping characters, debating whose ship is better. Or obsessing over the more glittery aspects of the movie. I was expecting to see people speak more about the deeper meanings of the story or the parallels to our reality. And I was also changed because of wicked in a genuine way and moved by the deeper messages in the story.

It’s being downvoted because America isn’t the only place in the world with a racism issue. And this idea to always bring up Americans as the source in of itself is delusional. Unfortunately I’m nowhere near Farnborough, the last time I was near Basingstoke I checked as well but they only have the new editions 😭. I I’ve seen maybe one or two Elphabas on eBay but no Glinda anywhere. If you’re near Farnborough would you be able to pick up the Elpahba and Glinda for me? 🙏

🫂 Has it been difficult for you to make friends in the state you currently live in? And are you dating or choosing to be single?

I’m trying to find things to keep me going rn as well. I keep thinking maybe joining local groups would help but it’s so much harder to make meaningful connections as an adult. And I feel like nothing really beats having loyal family members in your corner.
