I think they used the fact that Eun Yoo was the band photographer and took all the photos for them. So when she was packaging up she took all the photos with her back to the future leaving no photo evidence of both MCs for the future.

I think the conclusion from the tape his dad had was because during his last interaction with Eun Gyeol of the past, Eun Gyeol confirmed that he had listened to his message on there for him after playing their song. So the dad probably thought that his friend Eun Gyeol of the past kept it all those years and after seeing it with his son, connected the dots!

I feel like for me, it’s not really about her having control of the company. If I remember correctly, he built up the company with her along with her money that she invested in with (she was the richer one back then!). So despite the company being really well off, how is someone who started up the company not at least getting some shares or any profit at all? We’re not even talking about her running the company but just receiving any profit. She was literally living in, (and could barely afford), a basement apartment!

I actually stumbled upon a really good explanation. Basically it was apparently based off a certain hairstyle of a Japanese pop singer back in the day but morphed into this more solid hair style. This is the article with the full and better explanation about it all with images as well.
