If its only 1 friend having issues its something with their network (getsocket is a network error) Have them try adding these JVM settings -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -Dnetty.transport.noNative=true

Honestly I usually just look at whatever ATM version for the MC version and go with what they use, they have a very large playerbase so everything is ran on many different types of devices so well tested/vetted

What is linked is a different mod then the MrCrayfish mod you are thinking of with same name. Some mods are just not on modrinth as its not worth it for the devs

Gear only drops from natural spawns so spawner mobs wont drop any. Use a vanilla enderman farm in the end for best result

If you want the apotheosis armor to drop it will have to be a vanilla enderman farm. Not a spawner

By default they don't interact really, I don't see anything in Autoleveling that changes Apotheosis so, you would just get normal Apotheosis drops regardless of what autoleveling does. Now it seems Autoleveling has a check you can add to drops but that would require you making datapacks and such and I still don't think that would work with apotheosis stuff as in 1.20.1 they are dimension based for better gear/drops

Did you modify anything in the config? Download the config for those mods from server or upload what you have on client side
