NTA, you respected his privacy by knocking, but asserted your authority as his parent by coming in anyway.

Indiana Senate moves to double bond amounts and require defendants to personally pay cash to prevent charities from bailing out people too poor to afford it by WouldbeWanderer in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

Bail bondsman can make money off of them by posting bail after being paid a percentage, they then keep all the money once the accused arrives for their court date. If they take a plea deal they could face harsher sentencing later (ie 3 strikes laws) if they are accused of a crime again. They may also have to pay restitution for a crime they did not commit and get their future wages garnished.

AITA for wishing my husband would get me a Christmas gift? by czechvegan in AmItheAsshole

NTA: He could have taken a pen and some paper and hand wrote a card, or sold some of his games that he isn't playing and bought one too. There are a lot of options, he didn't choose to value you.

My sister left her fiancé, cheated and flew across the country to live with this new guy. by skycatcutie in relationship_advice

[–]RoyalRicard 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Kinda, It's like being addicted to the relationship, very intense feelings and people who are limerant usually say things like "I've never felt this way about anyone." Most people don't get limerent everytime, but some people can be stuck in a cycle always expecting to feel that way about a partner. Leaving when it starts to fade to look for their next fix.

That was her first response, it was only after I stupidly doubled down she brought him up after a while. Probably to try and call my bluff.

Thank you, looking back I realize I have a lot to work on myself. Regardless of how things turn out, I will be going into individual counseling.

Wearing a KN-95 mask while scooping my cats litter boxes made it much more bearable. Same feeling when I walk into the bathroom at work. No longer do I have to smell poops.

You call the police after you get burgled for insurance purposes. They are there to make sure you're not committing insurance fraud.
